Pate Chinois

Here's what you'll need:

around 1 lb extra lean ground beef
half an onion
small green pepper
2 cans of corn
potatoes
sharp cheddar cheese

So you just fry the ground beef and the onion and pepper and add whatever spices you want. I added some Cajun spice. Then you put it as the bottom layer in a casserole dish.

Put the two cans of corn overtop.

Mash the potatoes with some butter and milk. I pureed mine with a blender! Then you layer them overtop of the corn.

Sprinkle the top with grated cheese, or just paprika if you want.

Put the whole thing in the oven long enough for it to heat up all the  way through and for the cheese to melt.

If it's dry, eat it with ketchup!
