Maple baked salmon
There are lots of variations of maple baked salmon, all good, but none of them "adhere" to the salmon, at least for me. This one manages to do that, which is why I'm posting it. I did not use the cilantro.
salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp grainy dijon mustard
1 tbsp mayonnaise
fresh cilantro for garnish
kosher salt, pepper
lemon wedges for serving
I salted and peppered the salmon fillets. Then mixed the maple syrup, mustard and mayyonnaise. Put the salmon in a baking dish skin-side down and slather the mixture onto the salmon. I always use non-stick foil or parchment paper so the clean-up is easy.
Bake at 400 degrees, or whatever you like to bake salmon. It's really good with a squeez of lemon!
