Honey Bran Muffins



1 cup natural bran
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp liquid honey
1 egg
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Soak bran in buttermilk while preparing the rest. Cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in honey and egg. Add the bran and buttermilk. Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients and stir until moistened.

Bake at 350-375 for 15-20 minutes.
