Barbecue Sauce (for sausages, meatballs, etc.)

Barbecue Sauce

3 tbsp butter
1/3 cup minced onion
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tsp prepared mustard

Melt butter and mix together all ingredients. I put thawed smokies into the slow cooker, pour this mixture over top and cook on high for about 3.5 hours. It would work in the oven on a lower temperature for several hours as well.

I didn't take a photo. You would not believe how fantastic sausages can be done this way. Amazing.
